We’re looking for artists of all ages – amateurs, students, and professional artists alike are welcome – and want this to be a fun and exciting way for artists and musicians to connect. 100% of proceeds from entry fees will be donated directly to The ANNA Shelter and artists who sell their work during the show may choose to donate a portion or the entire amount of sale proceeds as well.
WHEN: The public Opening Reception is Friday, May 2nd from 5:00-7:30PM, and will include live music from Zack Orr, hors d’oeuvres, and more. The show runs through Saturday, May 10th at 5:00PM.
WHAT WILL BE ACCEPTED? The theme of the show is Music, and the only suggested guideline is that the artwork somehow be related to music. This theme is open to interpretation, and is not a requirement to participate. All varieties of 2-D and 3-D work will be accepted.
WHERE: World of Music, 1355 West 26th Street, Erie – World of Music will be transforming their unique store for the show, integrating beautiful instruments with pieces of art.
COST: The entry fee is $10 per artwork, and ALL of the proceeds go directly to The ANNA Shelter. Artists may sell their work, and there are no commission fees. There are no limits to the number of pieces an artist can enter, and all types of visual art will be accepted.
AWARDS: Blue Ribbons and $100 World of Music Gift Cards will be awarded to three age category winners (Kids 12 & Under, Teens from 13-17, and Adults), which will be decided by public voting during the show’s opening weekend. All participants under 18 will receive a commemorative participation ribbon.
