World of Music’s Rent-to-Own Program offers only the best instruments that are fully guaranteed and teacher recommended. Don’t settle for less when you can get trusted, nationally-acclaimed brands at terrific prices.

What is included?

In a word, everything! Your monthly payment covers the instrument, the tax, and the accessories that your child needs to get started. We even include one free private lessons with one of our teachers to ensure a positive first experience.

What about maintenance and repair?

We take care of the maintenance of your instrument for the entire length of your rental period. Don’t be fooled by other rental programs that sell maintenance as an extra—we do the maintenance and repair, we do it right, and it’s absolutely free. The only repairs that you’ll ever need to pay for are those caused by misuse, such as dropping the instrument. If any repair is going to take longer than two days, we offer a complimentary loaner instrument in the meantime.

Do I ever own the instrument?

Yes. This is a Rent-to-Own Program. There is a three-month minimum rental period to make sure that the student gives the instrument a fair try. After 28 monthly payments, the instrument is yours to keep.

Can I pay off the instrument early and save?

Absolutely. You can decide to purchase your instrument at any time during the Rent-to-Own program and save 10% your remaining balance. The sooner you pay it off, the more you save.

Why not purchase a cheap new instrument?

We understand that everyone is looking for the most cost-effective way of owning a quality instrument. The brands that we rent are the most durable and of the highest quality. We believe that this, along with our great prices, make for tremendous value. However, if you’re interested in a less expensive instrument, we have a great selection of both new and used instruments for sale. Again, after considering the workmanship, parts availability, quality, and re-sale value, we believe that our Rent-to-Own Program is one the easiest and most inexpensive ways to own a great instrument.

How do I pay?

Your payment is automatically withdrawn from your checking account or credit card on the 15th of each month.

What do I need in order to rent?

You'll need a Pennsylvania driver’s license, a major credit card, your checking account information, and your first payment.
